LEISA (Low External Input Sustainable Agriculture) India (by the AME Foundation) has featured the Chennai Urban Farming Initiative’s efforts to promote rooftop edible gardens as an effective solution to address not only challenges related to food security, heat stress, and livelihoods but also as a tool to encourage community well-being, environmental awareness, and cooler urban spaces.
